A book club for Bitcoiners
Read together.
Learn together.
Get better together.

Sure, you own bitcoin already. And have laser eyes too.
But do you grok bitcoin the way that Giga Chads like Saif or Saylor do?
And if you did...how would your life be different?
The rabbit hole is vast. And deep.
We believe books are the key tools to go deeper and have more "ah ha" moments about the profundity of bitcoin.

Hi - I'm Jonathan. I'm a Bitcoiner (class of 2013) and long term HODL'er.
Even after 10 years of being in bitcoin, the more I learn, the more sats I stack. And at the same time, the more I learn, the more I realize just how little I actually know (in a good way).
What I do know is that my stack of bitcoin related books is growing faster than I can read.
And when I do finish a book (like The Mandibles recently), I want to find other Bitcoiners to discuss and compare notes with!
...like John Vallis, Guy Swann, Matt Odell, James O'Beirne, and Ben from BTC Sessions did on the Bitcoin Rapid Fire podcast:
While it seems straight forward to set up a book club, it's actually not easy to find people who are willing to put in the work to read and discuss together.
And it's why I created Bitcoin Book Club. I'm excited to read together with you soon!
-Jonathan
FAQ's:
Who is it for?
Bitcoiners who are wanting and willing to put in the work to go deeper down the rabbit hole.
As an example, let's say you are traveling a lot and can't consistently commit ~20 minutes a day for the next month to read, then Bitcoin Book Club isn't for you (right now).
And of course, we are all adults with a lot going on. There may be a few days where you forget to read. That is fine. There is no expectations of perfection to join. However, we do ask that if you fall off the proverbial horse, to get back on and keep going!
How does it work?
You choose a bitcoin related book that you want to read (ie. The Bitcoin Standard, Softwar, The Mandibles, etc)
We pair you with a small group of like-minded Bitcoiners who are all reading the same book that you are
Day to day, we'll help remind you to read and share insights with your group. This is proof of work, in action!
What is my commitment (should I choose to join)?
For the next 30 days, carve out ~20 minutes per day to read a bitcoin related book
Check in with your group each day after you’ve completed your reading (say hello to accountability!)
Share any insights / learnings / questions along the way with your group
What should I expect out of it?
Most members report a combination of...
finishing a bitcoin related book they've been wanting to read
meeting like-minded Bitcoiners and forming deeper connections (since after all, you'll be reading a book together and chatting about it day to day)
having more "ah ha" moments about bitcoin as a result of your book club group sharing their insights along the way, just like you are sharing with them too
How much does it cost?
$20 per person per book club session (30 days)
why is it not free? Unfortunately, a lot of people say they want to read but aren't serious / committed to put them the work. The cost helps filter them out so you and your book club group have the best experience.
